L&G Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was co-founded by UK-educated Ph. D. Dr. Zhenhui Gou and co-founder Qi Luo.
L&G focus on developing innovative technologies which related to intestinal microecology, including automated, standardized whole microbiota extraction equipment; Remote interactive back-end quality control system; Clinically instructive analysis of intestinal microbiota bioinformatics; Intestinal microbiome nutrients.
The innovative fecal microflora extraction equipment is fulled automated extractor which can extract the entire fecal flora from the fecal sample. The extracted microflora remains the same profile as the original microflora, has very little impurities and be able to quantify the amount of the microbacteria. To compare with other existing methods, particularly the centrifugal method,  our results shows much higher biodiversity, and the number of bacteria is dozens to hundreds of times that of centrifugal method This key technology makes the Fecal Microbiota Transplation (FMT) become a reliable treatment, and doctors will be able to assess the clinical results. The key technologies has obtained the Patent licensings in China and Europe. The applications in other part of the world are in the process.
L&G Biotechnology is based on independent innovation technology, and has a team with rich experience in product development and scientific research, including PhDs and masters who specialise in physics, medicine, machinery and electrical fields.  It has a number of domestic patents, and the core separation technology has also been authorized in Europe. It has an FMT quality research center jointly established with Beijing 301 Hospital, and cooperates with Shanghai Changhai Hospital, Peking University Cancer Hospital, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing Children's Hospital, Beijing Women's and Children's Hospital, Chengyi Affiliated Hospital and many other top hospitals.
The company is committed to building an integrated industrial platform for intestinal microecology. In 2019, it won 25 million yuan of high-tech industry support fund of Jiangdu District of Yangzhou City, and won the "Green Yang Jinfeng Entrepreneurial Talent Award" of Yangzhou City in the same year. In 2021, it won the title of outstanding enterprise in the 9th "Entrepreneurship Jiangsu" Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Competition in Jiangsu Province, and in the same year, the founder of the company, Dr. Gou Zhenhui, was selected as the "Double Innovation Talent" in Jiangsu Province in 2021. In 2022, it won the title of excellent enterprise of the 9th "Entrepreneurship Jiangsu" Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Competition in Jiangsu Province again.
